On this week’s episode of The Walking Dead: World Beyond we check in with Elton (Nicolas Cantu) and Percy (Ted Sutherland). They have been on the run for a while now after separating from the group earlier in season 1, and now they find themselves in a dangerous situation. Now that she’s back with the CRM, Huck (Annet Mahendru) has to return to her old way of life and it’s an adjustment she might not be ready for.

What is The Walking Dead: World Beyond season 2 episode 3 about?

Here’s the synopsis of The Walking Dead: World Beyond season 2 episode 3, “Exit Wounds”: “An attempted grift leads to a precarious situation. As Huck readjusts to her old life, she’s given an ultimatum.”

The challenge facing Huck (aka Jennifer) is that she knows more about Iris and Felix than anyone suspects, and she’s all too aware of what will happen with them if the CRM learns the extent of their knowledge. In the teaser Dr. Bennett (Joe Holt) demands that she search for Iris, but what she can’t tell him is that her daughter is better off out there…for now.

Elton and Percy are finding their own way in the apocalypse. It’s interesting to think that impressionable young Elton now has a companion in Percy, who has traveled a lot during the apocalypse and understands how life beyond the walls works. They’re a great duo because they play off each other so well, but being out in the open puts them at great risk.

This week’s episode was written by Rayna McClendon and directed by TWD superfan Aisha Tyler, who will join the cast of Fear the Walking Dead in season 7.
