After the stunning revelations in the season 2 premiere of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, it’s time for Hope and Iris to start figuring out their plan of attack. In “Foothold” Iris (Aliyah Royale) tries to cover up what she did to the soldier while Hope (Alexa Mansour) learns more about the CRM.

In the season premiere, Elizabeth (Julia Ormond) dropped Hope off in the middle of an abandoned city to show her how hard it is to get by in the world by herself. After a night of battling empties with a concussion, and discovering a survivor who had lost her mind being on her own for so long, Hope was forced to call Elizabeth for help. She might not trust the CRM, but now she knows she will only be able to fight them if she agrees to go with them.

Iris and Felix (Nico Tortorella) learned that Campus Colony was destroyed but it wasn’t an accident. Iris, overcome with anger toward the people who took her sister and killed everyone she knows back home, went out into the woods and killed a CRM soldier. Now she must face the consequences of her actions.
