Riverdale season 5 finale live stream: Watch online

The season finale of the fifth season of Riverdale‘s new time jumped reality has come at last. Last week’s episode dealt with the heartbreaking aftermath of Polly’s death in a musical sendup of Next to Normal as Betty helped Alice process her grief.

With much of the questions for the season answered, let’s see what the finale has in store.

Per IMDB, the synopsis for this week’s ominously titled episode, “Chapter Ninety-Five: RIVERDALE: RIP (?)” reads:

"As the gang pick up the pieces after a rough year back in Riverdale, an incident at Pop’s forces them to make a difficult decision about the future of the town."

The synopsis is fairly vague, but it seems like the characters will be coming back together after everything we’ve seen happen this season —prison escape, Mothman, Lonely Highway Killer, et al —only to discover a new problem, likely to be solved over the next season.

The official preview gives us a better look at the drama in store for the finale:

There are a lot of images here that raise questions, like Betty and Archie, and Reggie and Veronica kissing, two events that will cause reactions among fans and shippers. With Tabitha and Jughead, and Fangs and Toni having just gotten together, there is plenty of relationship drama to unpack in the finale.

We also see more of Cheryl’s religious storyline including what appears to be a shot of her getting burned at the stake. How will Toni and Kevin react and who is responsible? As always, you’ll have to tune in to find out.
