PlayStation Plus members have a varied list of games at their disposal for October, which is great news. Sony usually offers some pretty stellar games to their subscribers, and this month is no exception.

Below are your free games for the month of October:

  • PGA Tour 2k21
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Hell Let Loose (PS5 only)

Hell Let Loose is your PlayStation 5 game for the month. Originally a Kickstarter and released for PCs in June 2019, it’s finally being released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in October. If you love multiplayer games drenched in history, this one is for you. Matches are 50 vs. 50 and take you through some pretty iconic locations for World War II.

PGA Tour 2K21 is the latest iteration of The Golf Club games, now under the 2K name. The good thing is that, unlike previous The Golf Club iterations, the difficulty modes are much more manageable and give a better balanced experience for players. The realism is great, and playing some of the most well-known courses in North America makes things that much more fun.

If you’re up for it, the career mode takes you about twenty hours to beat. Honestly, IGN said it best, that this is one of the most enjoyable golf games since EA’s Tiger Woods series.

Last for October is Mortal Kombat X, which throws in an all-new gameplay experience for the series. You also have plenty of new characters to choose from on the roster, and watching everyone’s fighting style unfold so effectively makes this feel like the smoothest Mortal Kombat you’ve ever played.

And it doesn’t stray too far from its roots. It’s still fits into the fold of the same ridiculous fighter series you’ve come to know and love. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed downloading and playing this one in October.

The PS Plus games will be available to download starting on Tuesday, October 5th.
