Unfortunately, the world hasn’t exactly gone back to normal. Thankfully, we have concerts to look forward to. Most notably, the Jonas Brothers have kicked off their “Remember This” tour. It’s more of a bonus tour, but it’s definitely something fans have been clamoring for.

If you’re not a Jonas Brothers fan, then you probably didn’t realize that the boys had a residence planned in Vegas in 2020. Due to COVID-19, the residence had to be canceled. No doubt the band lost profits. Unsurprisingly as soon as things started to look clearer in the world, they announced their “Remember This” tour.

Most notably, the band announced that fans would either have to be fully vaccinated or have proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours before the concert. While the tour wasn’t nearly as long as their “Happiness Begins/Reunion” tour, it does feature a lot of dates and they hit some of their most popular stops.

If you’re a Jonas Brothers fan and you weren’t able to attend, have no fear as this review of the concert should have you see if you missed out. If you did attend, be sure to let us know your thoughts about the “Remember This” tour.

Is the Jonas Brothers “Remember This” tour worth the risks?

Before getting into the details of the tour, it’s important to note that if you’re feeling sick or generally not feeling safe at a concert, then don’t go. Both your physical and mental health are not worth a concert. While it might seem like you’re missing out, putting yourself first is the best thing you can do. No doubt the band wouldn’t want people actually risking their safety for a concert.

Depending on the venue you’re going to be at, everything is going to be outside. No surprise as it’s probably a little safer. Firstly if you plan on attending and don’t want to be miserable, then be sure to dress for the weather. While it’s nice to look cute for pictures, the temperature drops and you’re quickly freezing your butt off. The cold is a deal-breaker for some so it’s worth mentioning.

Let’s talk about the lineup for the tour. This year, the Jonas Brothers decided to bring along Jordan McGraw who was a part of their “Happiness Begins” tour. Additionally, they also invited Kelsea Ballerini to go on tour with them. She was definitely a pretty big departure from the previous tour opening act, but it doesn’t always mean a bad thing.

First up is Jordan McGraw who is the first person to perform. He usually hits the stage around 7:15ish as the doors open at 6:00 pm. While he’s a good person to pump up the crowd, Jordan McGraw isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea. He’s more crude and in-your-face than the other two acts. When I attended at Hersheypark Stadium, McGraw definitely seemed a little drunk and did an excessive amount of swearing which won’t appeal to everyone. If anything, it put a slight damper on the excitement.

Thankfully, the second act to hit the stage was Kelsea Ballerini who got to the stage around 8:00 or a little after. Her set lasted for almost an hour and she had an excellent setlist. Even if you’re not a country music fan, she does a great job of doing a medley of different songs. She does sing a lot of her older songs, some songs from her new album, and even covers a few. She also really relates to the crowd as a former Jonas Brothers fan.

While Kelsea Ballerini is a slight departure from Bebe Rexha, it doesn’t feel like she doesn’t belong on the tour. Rather, she’s a pleasant surprise and does an incredible live performance. As far as opening acts go, she and Bebe Rexha were some great choices to pair with the Jonas Brothers.

Last but not least, the Jonas Brothers hit the stage between 9-9:30 and kicked things off with the namesake of the tour with “Remember This.” Their setlist did feature all of their new songs including “Leave Before You Love Me,” and “Who’s In Your Head?” among others. The band also performed some of their classic hits including “Year 3000,” “Burnin’ Up,” “Only Human” and “S.O.S.” Overall, the boys had a pretty wide setlist if that’s what anyone was worried about.

As someone who is a huge Jonas Brothers fan, I can undeniably say that this tour wasn’t nearly as exciting as the “Happiness Begins” tour. Maybe it’s because of the lack of audience involvement but it seemed a bit more toned-down. While the band did a great job performing, it didn’t seem like things were nearly as exciting. No doubt having a new album out would have changed things a lot but it wasn’t meant to be.

Ultimately if you’re a Jonas Brothers fan and you’re dying to see them, I’d say go for it. If you’re a fan and saw the “Happiness Begins” tour, then I’d say save your money. Personally, I really enjoyed the concert and thought it was fun but it lacked the pizzazz of the “Happiness Begins” tour so it wasn’t nearly as fun. Nevertheless, the Jonas Brothers did awesome so it’s up to you if you’re willing to spend the money and don’t mind being around lots of people.
