This is a series that really seems to have it all and we have only seen the first episode. We get the feel of a reality TV program with the added bonus of a dance competition. But then we add in the drama and the relationships and we have what could potentially be TV gold.
So what is it about The Big Leap that already has us hooked? Beyond the different elements it brings together, it certainly helps that the cast includes Piper Perabo and Scott Foley. Plus, the actual premise is so much fun.
The Big Leap is more than just a dance drama. It is about relationships, and it is a TV series that has potential drama and capitalizes off of it. And knowing that means we have a lot to look forward.
The Big Leap on FOX takes reality TV and a dance competition and makes it a drama
For a premiere episode of a new series, The Big Leap delivered. It gave us people we want to know more about, while also making some of them seem sympathetic while others are more in line with the “villains.” And of course, it also gave us the potential to see friendships bloom, drama form, and so much more.
Plus, the fact that The Big Leap gives us a leading lady who is not only plus size, but also a single mom raising her child with the help of her mom just makes this feel like the kind of show so many of us can relate to. And that means we are going to want to follow her story and see what happens.
