Nancy Drew season 3 is set to hit The CW on October 8 and we finally have our first poster from this new season and it is all about fire and a ghost.

Okay, maybe it is about more than these two things, but honestly, when your tagline reads, “Don’t get ghosted,” you know the ghost of the past is coming to haunt you. And since this is Nancy Drew, that is really not that surprising either. While the caption of the tweet that first shared the poster didn’t give anything away, it certainly added to the ghostly presence of the season thanks to the ghost emoji and the simple Boo that was used.

If you are all caught up on both seasons of Nancy Drew, then you may already know that we have a new entity in town (it’s not a ghost, exactly, but she sure should be). With this new season 3 poster, it certainly seems like the specter of this person is going to haunt the Drew Crew, and that makes perfect sense.

But what we are here for is the fact that the Drew Crew is wearing the exact same outfits they have worn in the posters for the previous two seasons! Like if ever there was a symbol of the idea that the more things change, the more they stay the same, this would be it.

Nancy Drew dropped its season 3 poster and it is a perfect throwback to the first two seasons

We have watched our Drew Crew grow into strong characters who can stand on their own feet, but who also know that sometimes they need to lean on each other. Nancy and the rest of us learned the truth of her parentage. And we watched as multiple people were killed or died thanks to everything from curses to betrayal.

And yet, as the poster seems to say, just because things change, that doesn’t mean that things are not the same as they ever were. We already know that the Drew Crew is going to have to solve more mysteries, deal with a paranormal relative, and of course handle the usual dramas of life. It’s going to be another wild ride of epic, supernatural proportions – and we can’t wait.

Bring on the ghosts. Bring on the fire. And bring on the DREW CREW!
