The Royals Next Door by Karina Halle
What would you do if two British royals — and their handsome bodyguard — moved in next door? That’s the setup of Karina Halle’s August release, the aptly-named The Royals Next Door.
The story follows Piper Evans, an elementary school teacher who spends her spare time reading romance novels and podcasting. Imagine her surprise when she’s swept up into a narrative fit for publication. When a prince and a princess move in next door, her quiet life is upended. She finds herself wrapped up in media scandals, with the royals’ bodyguard deeming her a security threat.
Of course, that won’t stop Harrison Cole from catching feelings while he keeps a close eye on her. When a particularly huge scandal strikes, however, the two of them will find their relationship tested:
