It seems like we just published our Summer 2021 YA preview, yet somehow Fall is just around the corner, everyone’s favorite season of sweaters, crunching leaves, and pumpkin spice lattes. It’s also a huge season in the world of publishing when many of the most-anticipated releases of the entire year will arrive at a bookstore near you.

(So, culling this list down to just 21 entries was quite the challenge, let me tell you.)

There are new novels from favorite authors, like Margaret Owen’s Little Thieves, Kendare Blake’s All These Bodies, and Erin Han’s Never Saw You Coming. There are buzzy debuts like Dustin Thao’s You’ve Reached Sam and Lauren Blackwood’s Within These Wicked Walls.

This Fall will also see the continuation of several popular series, including Renee Adieh’s latest installment in The Beautiful series, The Righteous and The Last Legacy, a new novel set in the Fable universe from author Adrienne Young.  The highly anticipated sequel Our Violent Ends from Chloe Gong arrives in November.

Truly, we’re spoiled for choice – no matter what kind of story you want to read, you can probably find one this Fall.

Here are 21 upcoming YA book releases that are worth your time this Fall

Here are our picks for 21 of our most anticipated YA book releases that will hit shelves in Fall 2021 (for the technically minded among us, that means from September through November – our winter preview will cover December releases.).

Let us know if you’re looking forward to any of them – and we can’t wait to talk about all of them once they arrive!
