Gossip Girl season 1 episode 5 live stream: Watch online

HBO Max’s flashy reboot of The CW’s classic Gossip Girl now has nearly half of its episodes under its belt. While the series’ primary conflict lies between half-sisters queen bee Julien and new to Constance Zoya, last week’s installment saw the two come to a truce, at least temporarily.

After a disastrous joint party celebrating Zoya’s birthday that revealed the truth about her past before Constance, she and Julien once again called a truce and agreed to set their vendettas aside. Whether this will last, and what this will mean for everyone else, remains to be seen.

Per IMDB, the synopsis for the fifth episode, “Hope Sinks,” reads:

"While an incident at a nearby school finds all eyes on Gossip Girl, Julien and Zoya team up for Halloween. Audrey panics over bad news, and Obie grows suspicious of Zoya’s new friend."

Based on the synopsis above, after a brief reprieve, it looks like the hunt is back on for Gossip Girl. We’ll have to watch “Hope Sinks” to find out just what Kate and the rest of the teachers have gotten themselves into.
