Anna (Laura Osnes) is a nurse who is about to head home to Connecticut for Christmas. Along the way she runs into a mother and her son who are stranded because of the weather. With nowhere for them to stay, Anna offers them a room at her father’s bed & breakfast.

What Anna doesn’t realize is that the mother and son are none other than Queen Victoria and Prince James of Galwick. The weather continues to wreak havoc on the royal family’s plans to return home, so they enjoy their time with Anna and her friends and family. It’s not long before sparks fly between James and Anna, deepening their connection without them realizing it.

Though Anna is warm and outgoing, a result of her chosen career as a nurse, she’s also guarding her heart. James, who recently lost his father, understands what it means to be closed off because he’s used to living in the public eye. That’s what makes them such a wonderful couple, and it just might help them to heal and look ahead to the future.

One Royal Holiday is one of those movies that can be enjoyed time and time again. The movie also sports a very talented cast; Osnes and Tveit are both Tony Award nominees and Clark is a Tony winner.
