The fourth installment of highly successful action franchise John Wick may have found a new adversary for Keanu Reeves’ titular character. According to Deadline, Marko Zaror will be joining the already star-studded cast.

Though the exact details of his role are being kept under wraps, the Dusk Till Dawn series actor is in talks to join the film set to hit theaters next May. John Wick 4’s cast currently includes Reeves, Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Bill Skarsgard, and Shamier Anderson. Lance Reddick and Laurence Fishburne are once again reprising their roles as Charon and the Bowery King.

Most of the actors included in the film have yet to have their roles announced, though Zaror will reportedly be playing one of John Wick’s main pursuers in the film. Which makes sense – what would the franchise be without Reeves facing off against a massive amount of people and barely escaping alive? (And Zaror’s martial arts background also makes this all even more likely.)

How will John Wick continue to survive against The High Table?

Where we last saw John Wick in the franchise’s third film, subtitled Parabellum, he was cast out completely, suffering a major wound and seeking revenge on The High Table. So any and all of these actors could also be members of the assassin council. How will John Wick survive against them? Our guess is it will involve a lot of guns.

Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long for the answers but it won’t stop us from guessing whether or not this will be the end of the franchise. (There’s no way it’s the last movie. Right?)

Next. Everything coming to Netflix in July. dark
