The Witcher season 2 invites mystery with episode titles

Not only were The Witcher fans gifted two new trailers at Witcher Con, but they were also treated to The Witcher season 2 episode titles, too! Well, all except the last episode.

Netflix held its first-ever Witcher Con where they shared interviews with the cast, showcased highlights from The Witcher season 2 and unveiled some exclusive news.

The Witcher season 2 episode titles: What do they mean?

The episodes revealed are called “A Grain of Truth”, “Kaer Morhen”, “What Is Lost”, “Redanian Intelligence”, “Turn Your Back”, “Dear Friend”, and “Voleth Meir (Deathless Mother)”. The last one is currently in a top-secret status as they’ve redacted the name. Collider is guessing it’s “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher” but we’ll see!

In the reveal trailer, it shows an animated white swallow being chased by a crow. That is until a white wolf jumps between them to save the swallow. These are clear metaphors for our main characters – the white wolf being Geralt (Henry Cavill), the swallow he’s protecting is Princess Cirilla aka Ciri (Freya Allen) and the crow/raven is Yennefer (Anya Chalotra). What does Yennefer want with Ciri, though? Or is the raven supposed to be another Witcher school?

More intriguing titles consist of “Kaer Morhen”, where we’re bound to see Ciri training to defend herself on the same grounds Geralt did. “Redanian Intelligence” is screaming the introduction of Sigismund Dijkstra. However, “Voleth Meir” and the redacted episode have the most mystery of all.

The trailer and the episode titles gave fans a lot to chew on while they patiently wait for the second season to debut on December 17. It’s opened quite a bit for theories and questions such as, how do Jaskier and Geralt reunite? Will Ciri enjoy her witcher training? How do Jaskier and Geralt reunite? Who will haunt the fated pair this season? And HOW DO JASKIER AND GERALT REUNITE?! (This question may or may not be biased).

Either way, fans will be learning in just a few months what everything means and what awaits us at the end of the journey.
