The Bold Type: The girls’ bachelorette dance
With Sutton and Richard being The Bold Type‘s Ross and Rachel (only less problematic), it was bound to happen that those two would end up getting married. However, with such chaotic work lives, the girls didn’t really have time to enjoy a proper bachelorette party–so they improvised.
In this season 4 episode, fledgling designer/stylist Sutton is trying to catch the attention of influencer Alice Knight (played by Raven-Symone), in an effort to woo her into hiring Sutton as her stylist. While on the set of Alice’s latest project, the three seize the moment to put on a show to both impress Alice, as well as celebrate Sutton’s upcoming nuptials.
The girls perform a part-choreographed, part-freestyle dance to Charlie XCX’s “I Blame It On Your Love.” It’s hard for the joy and happiness of seeing three best friends dancing and being silly to not be infectious, particularly when you can clearly tell the actresses are having a blast.
