July 2021 release: Gods and Monsters – Shelby Mahurin

The highly anticipated final installment in Shelby Mahurin’s bestselling Serpent & Dove trilogy, Gods and Monsters will bring the story of a dramatic forbidden love between a witch and a witch hunter to a thrilling end.

Lou has spent her whole life running. Now, after a crushing blow from Morgane, the time has come to go home—and claim what is rightfully hers.

But this is a more complicated world – and a more complicated Lou – than ever before in the wake of the shocking events of Blood and Honey, which included the death of a major character and a dark spiral into near madness for our favorite witch. How will she heal? And will she and Reid get their happy ending?

The official synopsis is fairly vague, but that’s not terribly surprising given that this is the series’ conclusion.

"Evil always seeks a foothold. We must not give it one. After a heartbreaking loss, Lou, Reid, Beau, and Coco are bent on vengeance more than ever before—and none more so than Lou. But this is no longer the Lou they thought they knew. No longer the Lou that captured a chasseur’s heart. A darkness has settled over her, and this time it will take more than love to drive it out."

Gods and Monsters is available on July 27.
