Summer Nights 2021 kicks off on the Hallmark Channel with a brand new romantic comedy featuring When Calls the Heart stars Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith. You Had Me at Aloha was filmed on location in Oahu, and it’s the perfect movie to get summer rolling.

You Had Me at Aloha is the charming tale of TV producer Paige (Hutton) who is forced to step in when the host of a popular travel show resigns. What Paige doesn’t realize is that the network wants her to work with Ben (Smith), the host of his own travel adventure show and someone who manages to get under Paige’s skin.

The network loves their chemistry, but all Paige is seeing is red as Ben manages to push all of her buttons with his knack for talking about himself at every opportunity.

Hutton and Smith not only star in the movie, but they came up with the concept and brought the movie to life after pitching it to Hallmark. Their chemistry in the movie is possible because of their connection in real life, and this talented duo will warm hearts with their inspired performances.

As summer movies go, You Had Me at Aloha checks all of the boxes with its sunny location, but as viewers start venturing out after spending months and months at home the movie also provides an escape and possibly a goal for people hoping to start traveling again.
