2021 summer TV viewing guide: 14 must-see new and returning shows
By Shaun Stacy
Summer TV: Love, Victor
Platform: Hulu
Release Date: June 11
Cast: Michael Cimino, George Sear, Rachel Hilson, Bebe Wood, Anthony Turpel, Ana Ortiz
Premise: Love, Victor returns for its second season and picks up right where the highly-acclaimed first season left off: Victor (Cimino) coming out to his parents. While they seem to be having a bit of an issue with, Victor is fully embracing his true self and his new relationship with Benji (Sear). In the brand-new season two trailer, they can be seen going on double dates with Felix (Turpel) and Lake (Wood), and are even holding hands as they walk down the halls in high school.
Additionally, we’ll see Mia (Hilson) dealing with the fallout of Victor’s betrayal, while navigating her father and new stepmother’s pregnancy. It also seems as though we will be seeing more of Felix’s mother and exploring her mental health struggles. Love, Victor was one of the best new series to come out of 2020 and we can’t wait to see what is in store for season 2.
