Jersey Shore star, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, has been arrested after allegedly attacking another person. The incident happened on Thursday morning at 11:50 AM in the Playa del Rey section of Los Angeles. He was arrested on suspicion of violating a California law covering violence against intimate partners. The victim claimed she had injuries as a result of his actions. He was taken to Van Nuys jail, but released Thursday at 7:18 after posting bail which was set at $100,000.

The reality star’s 3-year old daughter, Ariana, was with him at the time of the arrest and was soon returned to her mother and Ortiz-Mangro’s ex-girlfriend, Jenn Harley as seen on her Instagram story with a picture of them together.

“Can’t drive home like this but I’ll hold her as long as she needs it,” Harley posted.

It has been confirmed by a close source that Harley was not involved in the incident, but no other information about the victim has been given.

The 35-year-old was already on probation. He ended up getting 36 months of probation and 30 days of community service as part of a plea deal he copped in another domestic violence involving Harley in 2019. He was also ordered to donate $20,000 to a battered women’s shelter in Los Angeles. He reportedly had to be tased by police after allegedly chasing Harley down with a knife. This most recent arrest could trigger a probation violation from the 2019 case, and could ultimately make things worse for Ortiz-Magro.

Ortiz-Magro’s legal team hasn’t said much about the attack or arrest.

“We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate,” Ortiz-Magro’s lawyers, Scott Leemon and Leonard Levine, told TMZ. “As such, we will not be making any other statements at this time.”

Ortiz-Magro, himself, has yet to comment on these allegations.
