Have you been hearing about the romance novels coming to life as feature films and series on Passionflix? As its own streaming service, you won’t be able to find Passionflix original movies on Netflix.

When Netflix was in its infancy as one of the only streaming services available, it had tons of content because it had deals with all of the major studios to house their content for fans to enjoy as much as they liked.

As time passed, studios and networks started carving out their own spots in the streaming space and now it’s harder for Netflix to obtain content that belongs to studios with their own streaming platforms.

Passionflix has its own platform so there is no reason for their original movies to jump from their service to Netflix, and that’s why Netflix is intent on creating its own original movies that follow in Passionflix and Hallmark’s footsteps.

Passionflix movies are not available on Netflix

With the success of Bridgerton, there’s no question that Netflix will try to replicate that success with other series and movies that are based on romance novels. You can bet that Hulu, HBO Max and Peacock will do the same thing.

It must be noted that what Netflix did with Bridgerton is what Passionflix has been doing all along. They have been bringing romance novels to life with faithful adaptations that stay true to the book, the author and the fans. It’s a winning combination and they’re not slowing down.
