April 2021 release: Kisses and Croissants  –  Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau

A YA romance as sugar sweet as a French pastry, Kisses and Croissants is a perfect slice of escapism for spring. (I mean, if this utterly charming cover isn’t enough to convince you at first glance, I don’t know what is…)

The story follows Mia, an American dancer who comes to Paris to spend the summer at an elite ballet program. If she’s lucky, when it’s over she’ll land an audition with one of the world’s best ballet companies afterward. If she’s not…it just might mean the end of her dreams.

But there’s more to Paris than dancing – like the charming French boy, Louis, who offers to be her tour guide to the City of Lights and may help her solve a longstanding family mystery at the same time.

A breezy, entertaining tale in which Paris itself is as much of a character as any of its leads, this is a novel that will make you miss traveling more than ever.

The official synopsis describes the story as follows.

"Seventeen-year-old Mia, an American girl at an elite summer ballet program, has six weeks to achieve her dreams: to snag an audition with one of the world’s best ballet companies. But there’s more to Paris than ballet—especially when a charming French boy, Louis, wants to be her tour guide—and the pair discover the city has a few mysteries up its sleeve."

Kisses and Croissants is available on April 6.
