The second of the six bonus episodes of The Walking Dead airs this week, and it takes a deep dive into Daryl’s search for Rick after the events on the bridge and throughout the years after that. Daryl was largely absent from the communities during those years, and the show has never revealed much information about what he was doing all that time.  But “Find Me” will finally give Daryl an episode that’s focused on him — and Dog.

Daryl meets a mysterious stranger who plays a significant role in his life during his time away, a woman named Leah who has a lasting influence on him. Through his memories, fans will learn more about Leah and the role she played in Daryl’s life.

The official synopsis for The Walking Dead episode 1018, “Find Me,” indicates that this installment will finally show fans what Daryl was going through in the years he spent separated from the others while looking for any sign of Rick or proof of Rick’s death.

"“Daryl and Carol find an old cabin that takes Daryl back to his years away from the group after Rick disappeared. He relives the painful memory of meeting a reticent survivor and the toxic events that amplified his relationship with Dog.”"
