There will be no red carpet for the Golden Globes this year, which will feature hosts on two coasts beaming in live for the event. Tina Fey will be live at New York City’s Rainbow Room while Amy Poehler will broadcast from the home of the Golden Globes, the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Some of the highlights from this year’s nominations include three women – Chloe Zhao (Nomadland), Regina King (One Night in Miami) and Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) – nominated for Best Director, a first for the category.
All eyes are on Netflix and the streamer’s 42 nominations, thanks in large part to hit shows like The Crown, Ozark and award season freshman The Queen’s Gambit.
