Chris Evans learned to sew for Dodger, as if we needed to love him more
Chris Evans and his dog Dodger always warm our hearts but this time, the Captain America star has gone above and beyond for his furry friend.
Recently Dodger had to undergo hip replacement surgery, something that Evans had talked about in the past. Apparently, Dodger was shot with a BB gun prior to coming to live with Evans, and so the dog needed the surgery to not be in pain.
To help cope with the aftermath, Evans made sure that Dodger had his favorite toy at the ready. A stuffed lion, which frequently makes an appearance in his social media posts featuring Dodger, had been out of commission since November after receiving a nasty tear.
But Evans wasn’t about to have Dodger face recovery without his favorite comfort animal at his side when he got out of surgery.
So the actor learned to sew to fix his pup’s best friend.
The love that Chris Evans has for Dodger is something that is so pure and has often delighted fans. To be quite honest, most of the replies to Evans’ tweets and posts frequently include someone asking for a picture of Dodger. If anything, maybe Dodger is actually the bigger star.
But their happiness is something that has delighted us for the last few years and seeing Evans literally learn how to sew to make sure that his dog is happy is beyond sweet. It doesn’t help that Evans also has a tattoo for Dodger and decided to post Dodger just laying on his chest.
To be honest, most of Evans’ Instagram account is just Dodger content, but it’s maybe one of the most wholesome things out there. It’s full of random pictures of Evans from when he was younger and shots of Dodger’s face. Truly a win-win for us all.
Wishing Dodger a speedy recovery and while Evans learning to sew for Dodger is very cute…maybe someone should make sure Dodgers’ lion won’t need another surgery sooner rather than later.
