WandaVision delivered a surprise at the end of this week’s episode, when the Evan Peters version of Wanda’s brother Pietro (aka Quicksilver) arrived on her doorstep. Whether bringing in the X-Men actor is a means of assimilating Mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains to be seen, but the arrival of Peters’ Pietro does seem to confirm the multiverse theory.

And if Wanda is pulling people in from other realities, that means pretty much anything is fair game going forward. It’s possible this ripple could bring in other X-Men characters down the line — or even other familiar faces from the MCU. In fact, given Elizabeth Olsen’s recent comments, we’d even say it’s even probable.

Olsen recently teased a cameo on par with the one in The Mandalorian‘s second season finale, and although Quicksilver’s arrival is exciting, it’s hardly as epic as all that. More likely there’s another cameo planned in the coming episodes, one that’s bigger or more epic than Pietro’s.

If that’s the case, here are the characters we’d love to see show up in Westview — from our reality or another.

Magneto

This week’s episode confirmed that, in the current reality, Wanda and Pietro’s parents were named Irina and Oleg Maximoff. However, in the comics, Magneto was their father. And with the possible introduction of the multiverse — and the arrival of one of the X-Men in the MCU — there’s a chance we could see Magneto pulled in from another reality.

Truthfully, we’d love to see either Sir Ian McKellen or Michael Fassbender arrive in Westview. How likely that would be is another question, but…it could be on the same level as that big Mandalorian appearance, couldn’t it?

Professor X

In the comics, Professor X works heavily with Wanda to control her powers, so he’d be another contender if Marvel decides to use WandaVision to bring the X-Men into the fold. His connection to her isn’t quite as strong as Magneto’s — and Sir Patrick Stewart has said he’s unlikely to return as Professor X in the MCU — but dang, would that make for an awesome appearance.

Sam Wilson

Isn’t it a little strange that none of the Avengers have been called in to collect their former team member? Sure, the FBI and SWORD are on the case, but neither are likely to convince Wanda to stop what she’s doing. One of her longtime friends, however, might have an easier time of it.

With Sam Wilson taking up Captain America’s shield — and with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier just a few months away — it could make sense for him to make an appearance at some point during WandaVision.

Of course, we know Sam is also dealing with his own origin story of sorts, so it may not be feasible. We also haven’t seen him interact with Wanda much in the past, though this could be a prime opportunity for Marvel to change that.

Hawkeye

Speaking of calling in some of the Avengers, we wouldn’t mind it if Hawkeye arrived to talk Wanda down. The two shared a sweet moment at the end of Avengers: Endgame, discussing Natasha and Vision, both of whom were lost in the fight against Thanos. Hawkeye is also no stranger to reacting badly to grief — just look at what he did when his family was snapped away — so he’d be able to relate to Wanda in a way most of the other Avengers wouldn’t.

(He also has a series heading to Disney+ later this year, so if WandaVision won’t segue into The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it could always transition into Hawkeye…)

Doctor Strange

In the comics, Professor X isn’t the only one who can connect with Wanda despite her reality-bending powers. Doctor Strange is also able to reach her when she loses control, and he’d be a lot easier to bring into the fold than an X-Men character previously unknown to the characters in the MCU.

And since Elizabeth Olsen is already confirmed for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, it would make a lot of sense to have Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme show up in Wanda’s series. In fact, it could even help smooth the transition from this series to the movie, where Wanda is likely to take on a more villainous role.

Captain Marvel

This week’s episode saw some back and forth among SWORD over whether Wanda or Captain Marvel is stronger. And while this may just be a reminder that Wanda is the strongest Avenger, it also could have been a subtle hint that we’ll see Captain Marvel before the series is through. (We can hope, can’t we?)

For one, Wanda’s reality-bending may have less of an effect on Captain Marvel, who isn’t technically human in the way Wanda’s other captives are.

It would also be lovely to see a reunion between Carol and Monica, especially given the loss of Monica’s mother.

Captain America

Okay, this one is a long shot. But there were recently rumors of Chris Evans returning to the MCU in some form, and who’s to say an alternate-reality version of Captain America couldn’t show up at some point? He wouldn’t even need to stick around that long…but you know Cap wouldn’t leave Wanda like this, especially after all the Avengers team has been through together.
