Alexandre Gauchier is bringing respect with its newest crewneck sweatshirt
If there is one thing that has truly become fashionable in the last year, it would have to be cozy loungewear. And thanks to the collections of Alexandre Gauchier, we have sweatshirts and T-that speak for us without us ever having to open our mouths.
From a crewneck that says “By all means eat, just not at my table” to a “Let’s Get This Bread” T-shirt, it feels like Alexandre Gauchier really gets us. However, we are most interested in a new shirt that is all about respect.
According to a press email, the newest sweatshirt to join the collection is the “Let’s Respect Crewneck.” And whether it is the actual message on the shirt or the fact that with every purchase made of this shirt they will be donating 15 percent of the proceeds to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), I am pretty excited about this release.
Honestly, it’s as much the actual message as the charity donation that I am here for. And the fact that this is cozy wear makes it even better, as I know I have been living in T-shirts and sweatshirts for the last year.
Alexandre Gauchier brings respect with their new crewneck
So why is the Let’s Respect sweatshirt so impactful? Not only is it a unisex design, but on the back is a message where it becomes clear that, no matter who you are, you deserve respect. It might seem like a simple or obvious message, but clearly it is not.
And that leads me to the message itself. On the shirt the message of respect reads as follows:
"“Let’s respect people of all ages, genders, races, sexualities, ethnicities, and religions. Thank You.”"
It’s hard to deny that this shirt is speaking truth and sharing a message that we should all live by. For that reason, this is the kind of sweatshirt that needs to be a part of my closet.
It may not be considered high fashion, but the fact that it makes a statement makes it a piece that will command attention.
