What is going to happen to the future of the Harry Potter series?
Right now, the future of the Harry Potter series seems a bit up in the air and so how are they going to try and fix everything that is wrong with it?
The Harry Potter series is going through some changes and it’s probably about time. First, there’s the J.K. Rowling problem and then there is whatever happened with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and that’s just the beginning.
So, what does all this mean for the series? Well, first it means that we have a lot of reworking to do. To separate the franchise from its creator, Warner Bros. needs to put in the effort because otherwise, many fans of this series will not return for anything in the future. Second, there needs to be an overhaul of somethings to make everything make sense.
The original Harry Potter series is something that was sacred to fans. We loved it, we went on this journey with Harry, and we cherished it. When Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them came out, we were back in this world with a new story.
And yet somehow, that story contradicted the original series and didn’t make sense and now we’re in a “uh, what are they going to do about all of that” phase with the franchise and it’s all a bit of a up in the air moment.
There needs to be a lot of work done to make this series anywhere close to what it was for fans and who knows if it ever will get back to that place but right now, it doesn’t look promising.
