Sirius Black and his connection to the Potter family and Harry
When it comes to Sirius Black and his connection to Harry Potter, he has a long standing history with James Potter and his family and it’s interesting to explore.
Sirius Black turned to James Potter when he needed him most and the two spent their time together because they cared about one another. When he lost James, he was thrown into blame for what happened to him and Lily and Sirius spent years trying to find his own sense of “justice”.
But through all of that, he still came back to protect the Potter family. He was there for Harry Potter in whatever ways he could be and that’s probably because of his connection back to James. The Potters had been there for Sirius when his own family betrayed him and James was really the only one he had sometimes.
Remus and Sirius were always there for each other but it was James Potter who invited Sirius into his family, made him his son’s godfather. It was James who was like his brother and without him, Sirius filled in to be there for his son.
Overall, the relationship between all the adults in the Harry Potter series is missing because It wasn’t that important at the time but exploring it now would be fun, especially for the Marauders. Sirius Black would have died for his friends, did to protect their son, and getting to know more about that relationship would have been interesting at the time.
Will we ever get to know more about Sirius and James? Who knows but they are interesting.
