Philip William Stover returns readers to the town of New Hope, Pennsylvania with the second book in his Seasons of New Hope series–The Beautiful Things Shoppe.

Presscott J. Henderson is a recent transplant to New Hope. A fine arts dealer by trade,  he knows the time he’ll spend running The Beautiful Things Shoppe will be like a dream with exception to sharing the space with Danny Roman.

Laid back and extroverted, Danny was never a part of reserved and elegant Prescott’s fantasies. Nevertheless he’s stuck with this collector of retro toys and colorful knicknacks as they rush to get the store ready for its debut opening during the Winter Festival.

Danny follows his heart. It’s what he’s been doing for years but The Beautiful Things Shoppe is his opportunity to finally plant his feet on sturdy ground and build a life for himself. He refuses to let his stick in the mud colleague, Prescott, get in the way of that.

But when two historic landmarks in New Hope are threatened, the two must put their difference aside to help save them. Working closely together on a cause they both agree on has the two men reconsidering their feelings for each other.

Can dislike sprint past tolerate into romance? Certainly, that is until the secret Danny is keeping threatens to ruin their new found alliance, improving working conditions, and first steps into love.

The Beautiful Things Shoppe will be available January 26 in print and e-book format.
