The Bond girl

Roberts was cast as Bond girl Stacey Sutton in 1985’s A View to a Kill, which was the last 007 film to feature Roger Moore as James Bond.

Stacey was a geologist who found herself in the crosshairs of Christopher Walken’s villainous madman, Max Zorin. Keep in mind, this is the early days of Bond, before we had Halle Berry and Michelle Yeoh’s more evolved portrayals, so Roberts was there to be little more than eye candy.

Depending on which media outlet you go by, some celebrated her as a Bond girl and some say she was one of the worst. Moore himself commented that he didn’t have much chemistry with Roberts, though she had nothing but nice things to say about him.

But is it really a bad thing to not be a good Bond girl? Talk amongst yourselves.
