Devon Murray and Shannon Quinn have their first child!

A Harry Potter alum has had a very exciting start to the New Year, welcoming their first child into the world on Saturday!
Devon Murray, the oftentimes ashen faced actor who portrayed Seamus Finnigan in all eight Potter, and his girlfriend Shannon Quinn had their baby boy, Cooper Michael Murray, and made the announcement via Instagram.
Cooper, weighing 6lbs 10oz, was just over a week early, having been expected to arrive around January 14th. Murray commented on the feeling of having his first boy:
“Both are doing amazing now after a very long labour and a scary few minutes at the end. It still hasn’t sunk in just yet that we have our very own little boy.” Murray said. “I can’t wait to make the most amazing memories with Shannon and Cooper as we begin our little family.”
The Harry Potter actor made the announcement that the couple would be having a child back in July, releasing a photo of the sonogram. This came shortly after Rupert Grint had his first child, Wednesday, back in March of last year.
Murray is set to appear as a guest at LeakyCon in Orlando from June 25 to 27 this year, with tickets available for purchase here.
We wish Devon, Shannon, and baby Cooper safe health throughout 2021 and hope they are able to head home as soon as possible!
