Now that Shawn Mendes has released his new album Wonder and his new Netflix documentary Shawn Mendes: In Wonder, it is safe to say we are obsessed with his new long-ish curly hair. Sure, his hair has always had great volume, but this longer style shows it off even more. Though he hasn’t released a hair tutorial yet, he has mentioned a few key products that his hairstylist, Anna Bernabe, uses to keep him looking great.

In a video with GQ, Mendes mentioned that Bernabe uses an Innersense Organic Beauty leave-in conditioner. They only have one product in their line that fits the bill and it is their Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner ($29) which is a detangling spray that also brings back moisture and is scented with lavender. We bet that if you have curly locks like Mendes, you’ll need to make sure they don’t become knots.

Mendes in the video also mentions using a “curl creme definer” after. Though he doesn’t mention the brand, if it is Innersense Organic Beauty, then that would probably be their Quiet Calm Curl Control ($29). This styling cream hydrates and defines curls while taming frizz thanks to a mixture of shea butter, rice bran oil, and Rooibos tea.

According to a GQ article, Mendes was supposed to have an on-air interview with BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, Mendes texted James to apologize which the radio host tweeted out. In the conversation, James asked Mendes about what hair products he uses and he mentioned Moroccanoil products like their Hydrating Styling Cream ($34) and Treatment Oil ($44). The brand is known for using the power of argan oil in their products. This oil is full of fatty acids and vitamins that help keep hair, and skin nourished. According to Mental Floss, the oil has been used in beauty since 600 BCE. If it is good enough for the Phoenicians, it is good enough for Shawn Mendes. The Hydrating Style Cream, much like the Quiet Calm Curl Control, helps tame frizz while keeping the hair smooth, conditioned, and defined. Treatment Oil is what the brand is most known for since argan oil is the main feature. This product helps nourish the hair after you finish washing it.
