To be completely honest, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series needs a lot of work and it’s going to be interesting to see if any of it starts to get worked out.

Right now, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series is up in the air in a lot of ways. Yes, Mads Mikkelsen is joining the cast, but that doesn’t mean that the series didn’t have other problems. So much of it needed to be fixed in the next movie and where can they even begin?

The last we left off, the film forgot the canon of the Harry Potter series and had McGonagall show up and we saw Creedence Barebone heading with Grindelwald who told him he was a Dumbledore, which also doesn’t make much sense because Aberforth talked about their family to Harry in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and would he not have mentioned that to them at the time?

That’s just that stuff and that’s canon problems. There are other issues with the storyline and the questionability of a character like Queenie going with Grindelwald in the first place. So, where can they begin to fix this? Honestly, it is anyone’s guess. It’s not like these are simple problems to write off.

But whatever happens with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3, it’s going to be a rough one for fans either way so we’ll have to wait and see what they choose to do.
