Hermione Granger and the people a character like her helped inspire
Whether or not Hermione Granger was your favorite character in the Harry Potter series, you probably still found something to enjoy with her and that’s what makes her special.
For years, we loved Hermione Granger and while yes, she does some things throughout the Harry Potter series that we question, she’s still a character we look up to for a lot of reasons. Hermione is a character who makes sure that everyone around her is safe. And so when you look at the kind of people in she inspired, it’s wonderful to see.
The thing is, Hermione is the kind of character that many of us could see ourselves in. She cared about her education, wanted to be the best she could be, but she also looked out for those around her. Never did Hermione just look out for herself and not care about anyone else. It’s why she made sure her friends had good grades, would always be in the know of everything going on, and made sure she protected everyone she loved.
It reminded fans that we have that power. We can also be the person who does the right thing, who protects those we love, and tries to be the best we can be. That is why Hermione Granger is so important. Not necessarily because she was the brightest witch of her age but because she’s someone we know and we love and we can aspire to follow in her footsteps as someone who cares about those she loves.
Hermione Granger is great for a great many things but being a hero to so many is definitely one of them.
