There were so many characters in the Harry Potter series that we had to learn about and sometimes it meant that some got the short end of the stick. So, let’s talk about them!

Ever think about a Harry Potter character that you wish got more in the series? It’s a probably with the franchise as a whole, there are often so many characters that we love and they rarely get the time they deserve on screen.

First, there is the Marauders. The friends who spend their time together and loved one another and causing mayhem around Hogwarts when they were there. Then there are people like Nevill Longbottom and Harry’s fellow Gryffindors who were just him, Ron, and Hermione. We could have more of Dean Thomas or basically any other Gryffindor but, instead, there just seems to be no time to explore these characters.

With things like the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, there is a chance to explore more and get more characters this way but it also needs to be somewhat more focused. The problem is that there are just so many unexplored aspects of this series and while fans have tackled them often in fanfiction and among themselves, that doesn’t mean that they’re the stories that get told on screen or in published works.

Maybe there will be a way in the future to look into these characters in more detail but there are so many characters in this series who deserved more than the scraps they ended up getting in the Harry Potter series.
