It’s hard to believe The Mandalorian season 2 is already coming to an end, but here’s how fans can tune in for this week’s finale.

With Grogu in Moff Gideon’s clutches, Mando determined to get the — no, his — Child back, and an episode title like “Chapter 16: The Rescue,” there’s hardly any doubt that the second-season finale of The Mandalorian will have pretty high stakes. Judging by Mando’s message from last week, fans are also likely to see some sort of showdown between Din Djarin and Moff Gideon by the end of it. (Whether it will be the showdown is a different story.)

It’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up the show’s new season, and with any luck, Disney+ won’t leave us pacing for another year as we await the inevitable season three. The Mandalorian has genuinely picked up the pace and found its footing during the last seven episodes, so much so that it doesn’t seem like an entire season has unraveled already.

With Mando and his comrades on the way to save Grogu, it seems The Mandalorian will end its latest outing on that high note — though we suppose there is always the change Din fails and the Child remains in Moff Gideon’s possession. (Please, no.)

There’s only one way to find out whether Mando and Baby Yoda are reunited this week, and that’s by tuning in for the new episode — even if we don’t want it to end.
