Following Disney’s Investor Day announcements, we’re taking a look at some of the things we want to see happen in the Marvel universe leading up to Phase 5.

At the recent Disney Investor’s Day presentation, President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, discussed updates on a ton of new Marvel television shows and films that are currently in development.

Official castings were reported for upcoming Disney+ television series, such as Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop and Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a.k.a. She-Hulk. Release dates were announced for highly-anticipated movie sequels, like Thor: Love and Thunder and Captain Marvel 2. With 2020 being the first year in over a decade that there hasn’t been an MCU film released, audiences are obsessed with what is coming next in Marvel’s Phase 4, and the recently announced Phase 5.

While most releases slated for the first half of Phase 4 have either completed production (like Black Widow and Eternals) or are currently being filmed (Hawkeye and Spider-Man 3), the second half has been put on a bit of a hold due to COVID-19 concerns.

However, with safety protocols firmly in place, the studio appears to be ready to move forward with its next round of television shows and movies, such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Ms. Marvel. From the Disney Investor’s Day reports, it appears as though Marvel Studios will be placing more emphasis on its Disney+ arsenal of shows in the meantime, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on box office numbers worldwide.

Here is a list of things we would like to see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe leading up to Phase 5.
