The winter is a special time for fans of the Harry Potter series so why do we come back to Hogwarts and the wizarding world in the fall and early winter most of all?

Harry Potter is a series that has two distinct times of year where fans want to revisit it. In the summer, because of Harry’s birthday, and in the fall. Why the fall? Well, because it is when a lot of the movies were released and brings fans that big of holiday cheer even those there isn’t a specific tie to the season.

Maybe it is because of when some of the movies were released but, more than that, it is probably because Christmas was celebrated in the series and we got to watch as Harry grew with each passing year and how his holidays changed from Harry hating being with the Dursleys (or just not going home for them) to growing his family there at Hogwarts and who cared about him.

Throughout the series, we watched as Harry turned from a boy completely alone in this world to a character who cared about spending time (especially at the holidays) with those he loved and so for fans of the series, we come back to the world of Harry Potter when it gets cold outside and we can bundle up and take a journey back to Hogwarts.

There are probably plenty of reasons why the winter makes us want to go back to the Harry Potter series and there isn’t anything wrong with that! Especially if it means getting to revisit the series as a whole.

Next. The issue with Albus Dumbledore and how he treated people. dark
