Finished The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix and need something new to watch? We’ve got you covered.

Have you finished watching The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix? Are you looking for something else to watch now? Luckily for us, Netflix understands and has us covered. And honestly, we would expect nothing less from the streamer.

Not only are there more period dramas that can give us some of the same thrills as The Queen’s Gambit, but there is even one that also features the talents of Anya Taylor-Joy, the star of the new Netflix drama. And that means that we have plenty of alternatives when it comes to what to watch after we have finished binging our way through the series. (Or if you are like me, it was less of a binge watch and more of a slow and steady savoring.)

Here are five Netflix programs to watch after The Queen’s Gambit.

5. Peaky Blinders

Seasons: 5 seasons

Short Sell: When it comes to period stories, Peaky Blinders delivers in the form of a dramatic crime series. And as an added bonus, Taylor-Joy is a part of the show, making this feel like a perfect tie-in to The Queen’s Gambit.

Much like The Queen’s Gambit, Peaky Blinders also covers a period of time in the life of a family. In this case, the story ranges from 1919 until 1929.

Netflix describes: “A notorious gang in 1919 Birmingham, England, is led by the fierce Tommy Shelby, a crime boss set on moving up in the world no matter the cost.”
