Master of One by Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett

Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett are coming together to bring us Master of Onea fantasy tale full of gallows humor and with a queer romance at the forefront. (Honestly, what more information do you need to run out and pick this up?)

Master of One follows Rags, a thief who can steal just about anything from anyone. Rags talents are unparalleled, but that doesn’t stop him from getting caught by the Queensguard. Rather than punish Rags the typical way, however, a royal sorcerer enlists his help in tracking down an ancient fae relic for him.

The catch? The relic isn’t some antique object like Rags originally thought. According to the book’s synopsis:

"“But Rags could never have guessed this “relic” would actually be a fae himself—a distractingly handsome, annoyingly perfect, ancient fae prince called Shining Talon. Good thing Rags can think on his toes, because things just get stranger from there…”"

Compared to both Six of Crows and The Cruel PrinceMaster of One could very well be the next big YA hit. Those are big shoes to fill, but with thievery, magic, political intrigue, and romance, this new release may just manage it.

Master of One is available in print, ebook, and audiobook format beginning on November 10.
