Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone hit theaters 19 years ago and fans are celebrating the film with Tom Felton’s Party From Home celebration with stars from the series!
19 years later and fans of the Harry Potter series are celebrating the fact that today marks the anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. While 2020 has been rough for a lot of reasons, it’s been a hard one for fans of the series as well. Especially with everything happening with J.K. Rowling and her transphobic remarks.
But today, fans got to celebrate with the cast that we have come to love throughout the years. They took to an online meet up to all talk about the films and what being a part of the series meant to them all and it was honestly nice to see the cast coming together to talk about the series in this way.
From Rupert Grint talking about how much it meant to him to be apart of something that means so much to fans to the entire thing being organized by the stars of the franchise, it was an interesting way to look at our love of the series and those who brought it to life.
Yes, our feelings may be changing and we might have put the series to the side in light of JKR and her harmful stance but this cast does still, in a lot of ways, mean something to fans so to see them all together again was incredibly special even though we might not be that much in love with the series anymore.
