For the 19th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Jason Isaacs joined the celebration to talk about his love of playing Tom Felton’s father on screen.

Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton helped to bring Lucius Malfoy and Draco Malfoy to life in the Harry Potter series and when the cast got together for the 19th-anniversary celebration of the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, it was nice to see Isaacs come back to talk about his fictional son.

Calling in to the online event, Issacs shared a wonderful sentiment about Tom Felton and getting to work with him in the Harry Potter films.

While Jason Isaacs wasn’t really Tom Felton’s father, it’s a nice message to see from the actor. Because we do get to look back at the series now and see just how young the whole cast was and, with the older actors working with all these younger performers, it’s probably an interesting dynamic because they do get to see these kids grow up.

And especially for Isaacs, who played Felton’s father, it is, in a way, like watching his kid grow up. So seeing him come back for something like this to share that message for Felton? It was sweet, to say the least.

These actors mean a lot to us. Even if the series itself has left us all feeling a little bit left out to the wayside, at least we have these actors still there to love and support. The series will always be something we can turn back to by watching the careers of these actors and supporting them.

dark. Next. Today is the 19th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’s release!
