This week, the survivors on The Walking Dead: World Beyond face a threat they haven’t faced before: other people.

The kids on The Walking Dead: World Beyond may still be learning to deal with the empties, but this week, they’re going to have to learn how to deal with other people as well. As fans have seen on the other TWD universe shows, people often pose a much bigger threat than the dead.

Huck is off scouting, leaving only Felix to protect the kids. That has worked out so far for them against the empties, but will Felix be able to keep them safe from other people? Will he need to? Or will the new people they meet prove to be allies in helping them reach New York? The group from Campus Colony may find out the hard way that people in the apocalypse world usually shouldn’t be trusted.

The official synopsis for “Shadow Puppets” reveals that the kids, along with Felix and Huck, will finally start to see what they’re up against in the outside world:

"“When an unexpected newcomer reveals information that could help them reach their destination, the group cuts a deal. While some are intrigued by the new arrival, others are suspicious.”"
