How will Andrea’s story end in Supergirl season 6?

Julie Gonzalo‘s character, Andrea Rojas, was introduced at the beginning of season 5 as a former childhood friend of Lena’s who purchases CatCo and is also the CEO of a tech startup called Obsidian Tech. We eventually learn that she has the power to travel through shadows and is under the thumb of Leviathan, who keep her on their payroll in exchange for sparring her father’s life. While the flashback scenes with Andrea and Lena shed a fair amount of light on the friends’ currently strained friendship, Andrea didn’t have much else to do for the rest of season 5. She was an abrasive, snippy boss to Kara and was in denial about what was actually going on with Lex manipulating Obsidian Tech for his own personal goals.

In season 6, we would love to see Andrea get a story all on her own, perhaps something that doesn’t paint her as the stereotypical chilly boss who only cares about results. Yes, we had a little bit about the tragedy surrounding her boyfriend Russell, but there wasn’t much else beyond that. Perhaps she could also don her Acrata persona to help Supergirl out on a mission or two in season 6 to help make up for all of her past misdeeds at the hands of Leviathan.
