How will M’gann M’orzz’s story end in Supergirl season 6?

Sharon Leal first portrayed M’gann during Supergirl‘s second season and was such a fan favorite that she returned for additional episodes in seasons 3 and 5. Differing from her comic book counterpart (where she is J’onn’s niece), M’gann was written to be a romantic foil for J’onn. When we first meet her, she is running a bar that is considered a safe haven for aliens, though she eventually returns to Mars to help sort out the affairs of the war-torn planet. In season 5, she returns to help J’onn and the team defeat Leviathan, dispense some love life advice to Nia, and, as of the season finale at least, looked like she would be sticking around for a while to rekindle her romance with J’onn.

While it’s still unclear on who or what will be season 6’s Big Bad, Leal has been a pleasant addition to the show, so hopefully she will be sticking around for the foreseeable future. J’onn deserves some happiness in his life, which we haven’t seen in quite some time. As a conclusion to M’gann’s story, it wouldn’t surprise us at all if she returns to Mars at the end of season 6– only this time with J’onn in tow.
