How will Winn Schott’s story end in Supergirl season 6?

Another original cast member who departed the show, this time in season 4, Jeremy Jordan‘s Winn Schott was the resident science and technology nerd who also happened to be the son of the villainous Toyman. Winn decided to accept Mon-El’s invitation to travel to the future to be a part of the Legion and to help solve an inter-dimensional crisis. In reality, Jordan wanted to return to his Broadway career, though he guest-starred in a few episodes of season 5.

Like James, the writers of the show did a pretty decent job at sending Winn off on his own adventure, fulfilling his desire to become a true hero like all of the rest of his friends. When he briefly returned from the future, he did give Nia a bit of a pep talk, which we would’ve loved to have seen more of, and helped his old friends nab a nefarious doppelgänger. It’s hard to predict if Winn will be a part of the final season. In one way, it would be fitting for him to stay in the future and settle down. However, having him return at the end of the series to rejoin his friends would be just as appropriate.
