Short Sell: A Victorian horror story with all of the classic tales we know and love, Penny Dreadful brings all of the very best classics together in a twisted psychological thriller narrative that will keep anyone entertained.

If you are a fan of Dracula, Van Helsing, Frankenstein, and more, then this is definitely the show for you. And the fact that it offers all of the horror story characters we know and love means that it is more than just a scary story on our screens — it is a gothic masterpiece.

3. Hemlock Grove

Short Sell: If you are looking for a series that covers the gamut of horror and more, then Hemlock Grove is a great choice. From family drama to secrets in a small town, this show has it all.

As an added bonus, this is a chance to see Bill Skarsgard, Famke Janssen, and Dougray Scott playing off of each other brilliantly. The acting alone is what makes this show a must-watch.
