Why Hermione Granger as a character helped many of us fight back
Hermione Granger is the kind of character who reminded us all that we have to fight back and fight for others and that’s why she’s important to us now more than ever.
We’ve all learned things from the Harry Potter series but for right now, Hermione Granger is a character that is very much someone we need. Our love of her is also coming back to hurt Rowling because one of the reasons we are a generation who fight back and want to help is because of characters like Hermione.
She’s the kind of character who made plenty of mistakes along the way and didn’t have plans for the things she wanted to accomplish but she is someone who worked her hardest to make sure that she protected those she thought needed her help.
Sure, she was sometimes misguided and didn’t know what she was doing but she still had the best interest of everyone involved at heart. It’s sort of fun to look back at see how we have all become some sort of Hermione on our own.
Sure, there is a problem when it comes to how many seem to forget the parts about Hermione that we should question but at least there is an entire generation inspired by her desire to help others.
And that’s probably why we all still relate and love to her so. She’s someone we can look to and try and live in a way that would make her proud. So go out there and try to be the Hermione Grangers that we all just wish actually could exist out there in the world.
