Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire

Who doesn’t love a good vampire movie leading up to Halloween? Vampires are some of the best supernatural creatures around, and Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire puts a super fun spin on vampire lore. As you can guess from the title, it follows the Hansen family, whose kids believe their mother’s new boyfriend is actually a blood-sucking monster.

As you can imagine, things become very awkward very quickly and the result is a fun film that makes for a great lighthearted addition to any Halloween marathon.

Don’t Look Under the Bed

Monsters may knock on the door and ask you out on a date in Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire, but they’re already inside the house in Don’t Look Under the Bed. That’s right, this classic TV film is on Disney+ — and it’s every bit as fun as it was back in 1999.

This movie follows another teen with a bogeyman under the bed, though Frances is reluctant to admit it. When she begins taking the blame for the monster’s antics, however, she’s forced to reconsider — and to confront the monster residing under her bed. And Frances story is an entertaining one to say the least (and perfect for a family Halloween night).
