The penultimate episode of The CW’s sci-fi series The 100 airs tonight. Can the final two episodes deliver a satisfying conclusion to the show?

As The 100 approaches its series finale, the penultimate episode promises to raise the stakes for the show’s heroes — or what’s left of them, anyway. Now that Madi has handed herself over to Cadogan, Clarke is on a mission to get her back. And from the looks of it, that will lead her and Octavia right back to Bardo. (There’s a duo to be reckoned with.)

We know Clarke will do anything to save Madi – especially after what unfolded with Bellamy a few episodes back — so it’ll be interesting to see how far she and Octavia will go to stop the Disciples. Either way, we have to assume Cadogan will start the “test” we’ve been hearing about the entire season. It’s anyone’s guess what that might entail.

The promo trailer also hints at trouble ahead for the remainder of Skaikru courtesy of the bunker caving in during last week’s episode. The teaser shows an injured Emori or Murphy, and the best-case scenario would be Murphy needed to heal a wound or amputate something. (It certainly looks as though that’s how things are going down.) All we know is, it’d be nice if the series didn’t kill off what’s left of its best-developed characters.

With only two episodes to go, many have questioned how The 100 plans to deliver a satisfying conclusion to its seven-season run, particularly after the many hiccups in recent episodes. After tonight, we’ll be one step closer to discovering how this story will end. (Fingers crossed it manages to pull itself together somehow.)

Here’s how you can tune in for tonight’s episode of The 100:
