Daniel Radcliffe may be our Harry Potter but, after all these years, he still means a lot to fans of the series so let’s unpack why we’ll probably always love him.

When it comes to loving the actors who brought our favorite characters to life, the fans of the Harry Potter series know that feeling well, especially in regards to Daniel Radcliffe. Yes, Radcliffe is our Harry and that makes him special to us forever and always but there is something about him that also brings on a sense of pride, even now.

When it came to bringing Harry to life, it was always going to make us fans of Daniel Radcliffe. Mainly because he was our Harry Potter. Despite what anyone thinks about the movies or how they look back on them, we know that they’re still ours.

So, why do we still love Daniel Radcliffe to this day? Because he’s more than just an actor. He stands up for what he believes in and makes sure that he brings positivity to fans of the Harry Potter series.

When J.K. Rowling began sharing transphobic rhetoric, Radcliffe joined with the Trevor Project to make sure that fans looked out for each other and looked out for those in the trans community who Rowling’s stance hurt. He’s not the kind of person who takes his role as Harry Potter lightly and that’s why, for so many of us, he’s the kind of celebrity we love to rally behind and support.

So yes, all these years later, we still love Daniel Radcliffe and we’re not going to stop any time soon.
